I love a hot beverage.
Morning, evening, summer, winter - any time is tea time - and Golden Milk is a favourite.
Golden Milk originates in India, where export and consumption of turmeric trumps all other countries worldwide.
Why would that be?
Well, turmeric is a proven natural health heavyweight containing the active ingredient curcumin, the benefits of which are increased 2000 fold when used in conjunction with black pepper.
The major strengths of Curcumin include:
- Anti-inflammatory (maintains immunity and reduces inflammation)
- Anti-bacterial
- Anti-viral
- Anti-fungal
- Anti-oxidant
- Improves brain function
The list goes on!
So, why not give Golden Milk a try?
This beverage is delicious hot (maybe in the evening with a cozy blanket and a good book!), or iced on a warm summer day.
Let me know what you think!
